Happy almost Valentine’s Day, Babes! I was scrolling through sweaters and found this adorable camel knit shawl cardigan. I knew I needed to have it. Not only is this cardigan super adorable but it will make the perfect transitional neutral outfit to prepare for spring. You might be thinking that I’m crazy to be wearing white jeans in the winter, however, it is definitely a trend that people have been doing and I’m loving it! This outfit is not only perfect winter but it makes the perfect transitional neutral outfit for spring. Honestly, who isn’t ready to start thinking about spring?
Transitional Neutral Outfit Tips:
Make it look intentional //
When it comes to planning your transitional neutral outfit, make the outfit look intentional for the season you are dressing for. If you are wearing white in the winter, the outfit should look like you are dressing for the season, not throwing on your summer clothes to wear in the winter.
Add Layers //
Layers just make any outfit. In the winter, dressing in bulky layers is a great way to stay warm but it’s also a great way to really make your outfit stand out. Basic t-shirts and tanks are the perfect first layer, then start with a warm layer, and finally top with a jacket. In the spring, you can layer with lightweight cardigans and jackets.
Accessorize Appropriately //
Just like the first tip, your accessories should be appropriate for the season. With this outfit, I decided that a wide brim hat was perfect since these hats are such a hot accessory in the winter.
