Hey guys! Happy Monday! This post is so overdue, it’s been the most requested post and I just haven’t had the opportunity to write it. Now that we are ONE WEEK away from getting the keys to our new house, this post is perfect. Home decor is so fun to shop for but it can definitely be overwhelming and expensive. Today I am sharing with you 10 budget-friendly home decor stores that are my favorite stores to shop.
10 Budget-Friendly Home Decor Stores:
Kirkland’s is my favorite store to shop. I love that all of the pieces are affordable, or if it’s more of an expensive piece, Kirkland’s has fantastic sales. While I love to find pieces for my home for everyday decor, their seasonal selection is the best I’ve found anywhere.
Pier 1 //
Pier 1 is more on the higher end of affordable, depending on what you classify affordable/budget-friendly. I personally love Pier 1 for my everyday decor pieces. I’m willing to “splurge” more on pieces that I will display daily, all year round. Other items to consider at Pier 1, wall art, furniture, and dining pieces. Be sure to shop the clearance/sale sections and try and shop at the end of seasons to save even more money.
Looking for inexpensive frames? Faux plants? Furniture? Ikea is the place for you. There are so many amazing goodies at Ikea that are perfect for everybody, no matter what your home decor style is. The stores can definitely be overwhelming, so give yourself plenty of time to shop every inch of the store. I highly recommend visiting a store to do your shopping because the shipping can be outrageous depending on what you are buying and how far you live away from the store.

Suprise you? This might not be a common option for most, however, H&M might surprise you. H&M features a wide variety of pillow covers which are great to switch out seasonally or as your decor changes. You’ll also find affordable bedding, decor accents, and kitchen decors such as placemats, dinnerware, silverware, and more.
Everybody loves Target, so I’m already sure you know all about the budget-friendly decor Target has to offer. I’m a huge fan of the Hearth & Hand brand because it fits the theme of my home. While I’m searching Target, I try to find pieces that are unique and not necessarily the more popular options. If what I love is popular, I make sure to tie it into my home in a unique way.
Marshall’s, TJ Maxx & HomeGoods //
Marshalls’, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods are my favorite stores to shop for trendy pieces. Trendy pieces are just that, trends. I hate spending a lot of money on items that I know won’t be in style long, so I choose to find them at Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods since these stores are insanely affordable. Other items I look for while shopping at these stores: bathroom accessories, candles, wall art, picture frames, and kitchen accessories.
Wayfair, Overstock, & Joss & Main //
For just about anything, especially affordable furniture, I turn to Wayfair, Overstock, and Joss & Main. These 3 stores offer a wide variety of prices so be sure to set your price ranges when you are shopping. I’ve found quite a few pieces of furniture for our new home on these sites which have been impressive in quality and price.
