Happy Wednesday, lovelies! I’m so excited to be sharing with you my first beauty post! It’s no secret that I have a love/hate relationship with makeup. I want to own all things beauty related but my budget and skills are a bit lacking. Anyways, I decided that I wanted to challenge myself this year to be more adventurous when it comes to beauty: makeup and skincare. A few weeks ago, Tarte Cosmetics had a great special. The special was buy 6 full-size products and select a makeup bag for only $63. What a great deal! Since I had never tried Tarte Cosmetics, except for their Amazonian Clay Blush that I got as a sample, I decided to break down and order some new products to try. Today I’m sharing with you a super simple, everyday Tarte Cosmetics 10-minute full-face look that can be easily recreated at your home.
As much as I love a full, glammed up makeup look, my energy has just not been there when it comes to putting on my makeup. I’m trying to find a quick, 10 minutes or less makeup look that I can totally rock for any occasion, especially once Baby B arrives. I just know that I won’t have hours to spend in front of the mirror, which is why I played around with these products and created an easy makeup look anyone can recreate. For those of you on a budget, this look can be easily recreated using only drugstore products but if you do have some money to spend, I highly suggest a few of the products used below!
Tarte Cosmetics 10-Minute Full-Face Look:
I’ll tell you a bit about the product, shade varieties (if applicable), and give you a rating from 1-5. 1 = do not buy!!! 5 = OBSESSED! You need this in your makeup bag!
Shape Tape Foundation in Light Sand //
When I received the opportunity to buy this foundation, I had to jump on it. Over the last couple of months, I’ve heard so many people talk about this foundation. I can see why! My skin is definitely combination to dry so I decided to buy the hydrating foundation rather than the matte foundation. Plus, I love a dewier look. This foundation is great! Since being pregnant, my skin is definitely more pale than normal and this shade worked perfectly for me. I really loved the wand applicator. I felt I could really put the product where I wanted it.
Aquacealer Concealer in Light Neutral //
When it came to picking out my concealer, I really wanted to try the Shape Tape concealer because it’s ALL THE RAGE, but it was sold out in my shade. So, I decided on the Aquacealer concealer and I’m really glad I did. This concealer is a little bit more liquidy than I’m used to so a little definitely goes a long way. Again, the shade was perfect. I really liked how it made my eyes pop and I felt it made me look more awake because of #insomnia.
Amazonian Clay12-hour Blush in Dollface //
Out of all of the products, this blush is the only product I’ve used before, just in a different shade. When deciding on this shade online, I was a little hesitant because it looked super pink but on my face, I felt it was the perfect pink, especially for spring and summer. I highly, highly recommend this blush. Seriously, get yourself some in a variety of different shades.
Lights, Camera, Lashes™ Closeup Lash Liner //
Recently I’ve been lining my top and bottom waterline and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect liner. This is it! I absolutely love how easy this liner is to apply. Since I haven’t been wearing eyeshadow on quick makeup days, applying this liner to my waterline really makes my eyes pop. The only complaint I have is that I have a feeling this product will be used quickly which is why I didn’t give it a full 5 rating.
Lights, Camera, Lashes™ 4-in-1 Mascara //
This mascara just became my holy grail and I’m definitely going to be repurchasing this mascara. I am absolutely obsessed with the wand and how it lengthens my lashes while giving them volume. Honestly, since using this mascara, I don’t feel like I need to add any type of false lashes because it really enhances your lashes. Please go get yourself this mascara!
LipSurgence™ Lipgloss in Blissful //
If you are a lipgloss person, then you might like it, if you aren’t, skip this product. When looking at all of the lip product remaining (most were out of stock), I decided to give this lipgloss a try since it had been years since I bought an actual lipgloss. I was NOT a fan. The color was deceiving and not as peachy coral as I was hoping. Plus, the lipgloss was a bit sticky which I can’t stand. The product came off quickly and I felt like I was constantly having to reapply which nobody has time for that. This is a hard pass for me.

I hope this Tarte Cosmetics 10-minute full-face look inspires you to give Tarte Cosmetics a try. Some of these products were total hits, while others were total misses. This was not a sponsored post by any means, just my honest review of the products I received and tried for the very first time.
